I’ve faced many hurdles in my life, but I’ve refused to let any of them stop me. I’ve risen above sexual abuse, a nightmare divorce, domestic violence and bankruptcy. I hit rock bottom after having been a successful entrepreneur of several businesses and suddenly found myself applying for government assistance/ welfare in order to feed my daughter. I walked away from a marriage-knowing I’d lose it all in order to save\find myself and through it I found my voice.

This led me to start V.I.V.A. Women's Empowerment Community in order to give women the hope I once needed. I did so while fighting complex PTSD, anxiety disorder and severe depression. God is good!
