Creator and Founder of In Gentle Hands Massage and Wellbeing Workshops for carers

With funding in 2018 and inspired by two decades of using massage and intensive interaction techniques to build relationships, I created a workshop for the families of those with dementia, whom I felt were sometimes overlooked on the dementia journey.

The first of its kind; not only designed to use therapeutic relaxation tools and a massage routine as a way of communicating throughout all stages of care and cognitive decline, but also to support those struggling with stress and living grief.

During the covid pandemic, moved by the isolation of young carers, I adapted the workshops to embrace and support all carers.

The beauty of the workshops are their versatility and reach across a broad spectrum of care embracing and supporting carers of all ages ..5 to 85! They are an uplifting experience for those who may be struggling 🦋
