Hi I'm Mervyn, thank you for looking up my profile.

Some people might not believe me when I tell them I was reared in a house where we didn't have either electricity or running water, but its perfectly true.

I didn't start school until I was five years old, and ran for home on my very first day, I must confess I didn't get very far, you see a little five year old boy couldn't out run the principle or my older sister who shopped me, no matter how determined I was to get home.

After leaving school three months before my 16th birthday I went to sea as a fisherman, I spent twelve years at sea and weathered some of the worst storms imaginable, while I've also lost some good friends to the sea I have learned to give the oceans 🌊 a very healthy respect, and I'm in awe of its vastness and power.

My career in Financial Services began 1992. I set up my own Financial Services and Property business 1999, from a small office on the high street, I purchased a new premises to grow these businesses. (unfortunately lost both) But with the right people doing the right things for the right reasons, you can rebuild your life.

Founder Member Director JIMS youth Project. This is a fantastic project, providing a safe and secure environment for the youth of my community to chill, relax and where they can find purpose and direction in life.

I joined the NIFRS in 1996 as a Retained Fire-fighter. I Have witnessed the devastation and loss of life, when cars are driven under the influence, and when people are careless when it comes to not fitting a "simple Smoke Alarm"​ in their home

I love property, I built a multi million pound portfolio from just £300 pounds, that's right (just three hundred pounds) I JV with select investors and build cash positive property portfolios, as well as life changing relationships.
