After receiving his M.D. in 1998 and practicing as a physician in the area of general internal medicine, Dr. Mohseni had postdoctoral training in the area of apoptosis; gene polymorphism and hematology-oncology at three different clinical centers affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston and investigated the role of regulatory T-cells in chronic graft versus host disease. Dr. Mohseni served as a Scientific Review Officer and managed more than hundred federal study section review panel for 11 years at NIH before joining NCI in 2021.
