The proposed Xetlink project is a video communications application, an easy to use web and mobile application that will be useful for meetings, delivering a HD video and audio for webinar, conference rooms, phone system, chat with automated real-time voice-to-voice language translation, automated Speech-to-Text meeting minute translation, a built-in AI invested meeting key-point summary, automated real-time audio and video screen display inter-switch between hosts and participants during meeting (switch for who's talking), real-time audio-to-sign language translator (an unprecedented solution that incorporates people with hearing disability in video communication) and many other extra features that are non-existent in other video conference/meeting applications. Xetlink unlike other video communication applications shall be secured using End-to-end Encryption.
The proposed Xetlink Videocon idea was spiked amid the Covid-19 pandemic as millions of people around the world are working from home in order to slow the spread of corona virus. Video conference apps have been put to good use more than usual and it doesn't seem like the culture will revert to normal anytime soon. This has become the new norm as people have seen the convenience and advantages of performing tasks from home. It increases productivity and cuts down on operational costs for most organizations hence the need for a reliable and secure video communications application. Xetlink meetings shall run on a highly reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure platform in the cloud - preferably AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. All session data originating from the host's device and arriving at the participants device will be dynamically switched - never stored persistently.
