The philosophy of mathematics is one of the branches of philosophy that studies the philosophical assumptions of mathematics, the foundations and consequences of mathematical theories and tries to answer questions related to the nature of mathematical objects and asks how to abstract mathematical objects from nature and then use them to understand nature itself, to what degree can we say that mathematical statements correct? Do mathematical beings have a real existence? Or are they just abstract imaginative tools that man uses to facilitate his treatment of the phenomena of nature? Thus, the aim of the philosophy of mathematics is to provide an account of the nature of mathematics, its scientific approach, and its role in human life. The logical and structural nature of mathematics in and of itself makes this study broad and unique among its philosophical counterparts.( London University )
