Actress and commercial model credits include producing the short film “Hands to the Sky” (African Movie Academy Award Nomination). As a commercial model, her credits include two Nationals for McDonalds and Walmart, Verizon, and Disney. As a TV actress, her credits include Queen Sugar, Single Parents, Friends from College, and the award-winning digital series Giants from James Bland with Executive Producer Issa Rae and Poz Roz from Carlton Jordan. Joy has been nominated for two Indie Series Awards for her work in both Giants and Poz Roz. With no sights of slowing down is living in Los Angeles continuing to push the limits.
