Bio
🎼 Amsterdam, the Netherlands, based musician and professor in Lucerne, Switzerland. I play around 80 concerts per year in Amsterdam and around 45 a year abroad. I have performed in about 66 countries so far.
🎺🎻I am tenor and bass trombonist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, one of the leading classical music symphony orchestra’s in the world. I also play a bit of piano and guitar.
👨🏻🎓 I am also lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne, Switzerland.
🤓 Besides playing and teaching music I am keeping myself busy with social media, audio recording and editing, video recording and editing, interviews, podcasts and exploring what the digital world can add and improve to the musical experience.
🌎 Apart from music I’m interested in politics, world affairs, critical thinking, food and travel.
