Artisan Cheesemaker specialising in Raw Milk. Dairy Sheep and Goat farmer, low input system working to incorporate regenerative principles and increase species diversity in grassland, based in the Lake District, Cumbria. 2018 Nuffield Scholar. Long time speciality food retailer, left school to work as a butcher on the family farm then went rogue and turned cheesemaker, served time as a baker too somewhere in the middle of all that! Set up @cartmelcheeses and then later @newmarketdairy as a way to engage with consumers, but spend most of my time working on the farm breaking and repairing machinery and trying to help my team make better cheese.
