We were wondering how captivating is Marquise Nelson Sutton’s voice? Mesmerizing enough to have sung on the same stage beside various gospel superstars of our generation or recorded with them.

For instance: In 2005, Nelson did most of the background vocals for “Kierra Kiki Sheard’s “Just Until” album. The album was a collection of remixes songs from Kierra’s “I Owe You” project.
In recent years, she has sung background vocals from artists ranging from “Kim Burrell” to “Jonathan Nelson.”

It’s all bout using her voice as an instrument of inspiration to compel the love of Jesus. Taking the influences from country, hip-hop/r&b, Jazz, gospel mixed with The Carpenters and other harmonic faves is how she makes her music relatable to all demographics.

Gifted with a voice and songwriting ability that reaches to the depth of the soul, Marquise recently released her latest album on all music platforms entitled “Begin Again. She recently had the opportunity to pay tribute to her Aunts ( The legendary Clark Sisters) at the COGIC Women’s Convention, where over 40,000 individuals attended.
