Bio

I build installations and visual illusions (projection mapping) mainly large but also small scale. The screenings take place in various spaces and surfaces such as, such as industrial facades, buildings facades, interior objects , nature landscape or theatrical scenes, etc.
I deal with documenting facts and how they can be presented through innovative technologies. I've always been interested in the correlation between art and technology, and the relationship between sound and image.
My installations respond directly to the environment and have as their starting point data from thorough research. Often they are framed by sound design and architectural design. With a conceptual approach, I try to develop visualizations and illusions that follow historical and architectural criteria, and are based on conjunctions of different kinds of art. These conjunctions motivate the viewer to create new personal relationships and to vent his / her imagination by opening his / her horizon.
With the help of physics and technology, my works aim to tell a story or create a metaphor, engaging the viewer through images and experiences.
I live and work in Athens.
