Source Material

I have had a deeply rewarding career in health care. A Child Life Specialist by training, I have worked with children and adults living with terminal and /or chronic conditions. In addition to work in hospitals and community organizations in NYC, I have visited two countries in Africa to work with children in hospitals. First, to Kenya with Operation Smile and then to Cape Town, South Africa, where I lived for nine weeks, working on the burn and cancer units at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.

I study African elephants as a hobby. 🐘
