My education background started in Pisa, where I graduated in European artistic languages and cultures in 2012, with a dissertation on Diego Rivera and the case of Rockefeller Center. Then I obtained a master’s degree in Contemporary Art History, presenting in 2016 a research about the Protofuturism of Umberto Boccioni and the visual sources of his paintings exhibited at Bernheim Gallery in 1912.
I concluded my studies with a Double Master’s Degree in Management of Cultural Assets and Activities at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the École Supérieure du Commerce (ESCP) in Paris, presenting a study about the project of the frieze "Triumphs and Laments" by William Kentridge and the role of contemporary art in recovering urban areas.
During my university years, I discovered the beauty of wandering in the smallest galleries and art fairies, discovering the hidden talents in our wo derful country.
I actively participated in research and archival projects, including "FUTURAHMA - Between Futurism and the Return to the Classic (1910-1922). Pictorial techniques, criticism of variations and conservative problems" and that's how I understood that I have too little patience to devote myself to research 😁
In 2017 I moved to Rome and began my curatorial activity, first as Art Manager at the Ducci Foundation where I curated the exhibitions in collaboration with Prof.Claudio Strinati, then as Senior Curator at Atelier Montez.
Today, I'm an untiring freelance curator and work with Atelier Montez.
