Hi I’m Gus, thanks for stopping by🙏🏻

I’m a maker based in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and share what I do on Instagram and YouTube. I’m very fortunate to have a well stocked workshop and I’m not scared to use all of it to cut🪚, machine🗜, heat🔥, bend, weld 👨🏼‍🏭and have fun with different materials to make something out of nothing.

Passionate about problem solving ✅, learning 📚and sharing 🗣what I do, it is my hope that some of what I know can help others in their journey 🤝

A wee bit more about myself:

1. My real name is Angus Bartholomew Aurelius, but it takes ages to say so most people call me Gus, okay so two of those names might be made up.
2. A time served engineer 👨🏼‍🔧I started my career as a YTS ( youth training scheme) apprentice earning the princely sum of £27 per week. Looking back now it’s some of the happiest moments in engineering🙏🏻
3. I can hold a wheelie in a wheelchair 👨‍🦽for as long as I want.
4. I’m rubbish at remembering 🤖names and can only manage about 17 at anyone time so apologies in advance if you happen to be number 18
5. Being a virgin.........errr I mean Virgo I’m my own worst enemy and hypercritical of anything I make. It’s all in the details and love nothing more than making an item several times before I’m happy, honestly 🤥
6. Although l live in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿I actually can’t take whiskey 🥃 and have almost been disowned by my father. Beers 🍺 , rum 🍹 and gin but obviously not in the same glass as it usually ends badly, trust me I’ve tried 🤢
