Volunteer and vice president of Chesapeake Area Alaskan Malamute Protection (CHAAMP). We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer rescue organization for Alaskan Malamutes in the DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, and WV. Malamutes are a highly intelligent working breed bred to hunt, live with family, and pull heavy sleds. They are a whole lotta dog! 🐾❄️🐾

CHAAMP is a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild. We advocate for positive reinforcement rewards-based training (force-free, fear-free), which is the BEST for Malamutes! I am studying to become a dog trainer.

Rescue does not mean damaged, It means they have been let down by humans. CHAAMP is dedicated to healing Alaskan Malamutes Mind, Body, and Spirit 🙏🏼 and educating pet parents. Let’s learn together & make their world a better & safe place 🐾♥️🐾
