• Eng. Magdi Osman born in Karema in northern Sudan; moved to city of Kostiee when his one
year old; then to Khartoum north (Koper) when his six years old study elementary and high
school in Khartoum then start his journey to Sweden in 1984 then to Yemen and finally to
Oakland California in 1988 to pursed his education and his dream in Aviation engineering he got
his BSc degree in Professional Aeronautics and his master’s degree in Aviation and aerospace
management / system safety from Emery Riddle Aeronautical university.
• Eng. Magdi Osman is the CEO and founder of Sudanese American Engineers Association (SAEA).
SAEA’s is non-profit non-political and humanitarian organization It’s members are engineer
professionals from Sudanese descent; he leads the overall strategic and operational
responsibility for SAEA’s programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.
• In 2000 Eng. Osman is entrepreneur a founder of Trans-pacific Aviation Inc a 145-repair station
operate in five states providing aircraft maintenance and engineering services; prior to that
worked for North west airlines and Alaska airlines as an aircraft line maintenance engineering
for more than 19 years
• Eng. Osman serves as a president for Sudanese Association for northern California (SANC) for
three terms; 2006 -2010 and 2016-2018. SANC is non-profit organization their members are
Sudanese living in the bay area.
• Eng. Osman is passionate about humanitarian aid and working for SAEA fulfills his desire to help
those in need especially in Sudan.
