I’m a married mom of three living on the outskirts of Philly, and my life can be summed up in six words: this is not what I planned.

My first child was born with a rare chromosome disorder, so I became a different kind of mom than I ever expected. 

My goal is to show other moms that motherhood and martyrdom are not synonymous, that self-care is not selfish, and that having a child with multiple disabilities does not mean you have to sacrifice your goals--you just have to adjust them.
