Sex work, HIV, TGNC, anti-policing & reproductive & health justice activist / advocate
My research focuses on the intersections between the criminalization of sex work, HIV, and broader systems of oppression including but not limited to systemic racism, sexism, classism, ableism, transphobia, and the prison industrial complex. It also examines how criminalization impacts harm reduction through the lens of sex workers, community outreach workers, activists, and advocates.
I believe that lived experience is often more valuable and knowledgeable than academic expertise. My purpose here is to work with other organizers, activists, and advocates and support the work of those already fighting to decriminalize, decarcerate, and destigmatize their communities.
