I have worked as a driller offshores and now working as a tool pusher. If there is one thing that everyone will agree is right about work on an offshore oil rig or platform, it is that this kind of work is the opposite of boring. When you work on an offshore platform, you work where you live, and you work long, busy hours. The work is often challenging, and it can also become instantly dangerous when the weather changes. But it could be highly rewarding work, with solid career growth opportunities.
