❣️ I have been in the education field as a certified educator for 20 years with more than eleven years of my tenure in administrative capacities, Having served in every level of education including; a teacher, Academic Dean, Principal, High School Director, Instructional Coordinator, District STEM Director , Program Manager, and now Educational Consultant.
📚As Principal, my team and I were able to raise achievement scores to move to a B’ school from an F’ school; where PBL serves as the instructional model. 90% of my students were classified as low socioeconomic and 98% of them are students of color. Majority of the districts and schools I have served have had academic growth through hands-on experiences.
As a leader for change, I have had the opportunity to learn and deconstruct systems necessary to enforce education equity, ethically and without liability through these my various educational leadership experiences. I am continuously strengthening my skills in curriculum research, and designing high impact learning experiences for students to impact students and teachers around the world.
