I used to be the Vicar's daughter. Daughter Number 1. Head Girl. Not a Swot. One of the First Ladies. The Head's wife. Mum. The Awesome Mrs Nicholls. Head of English.

I'm still many of those things. But now the name's Lois Cliff.
