Clinical Lipidologist 🩺 🧬 President 🫀ABCL Clinical Assistant Professor 👨‍🏫 of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the NYU Langone Center for Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease.

I direct the Bellevue Hospital Lipid Clinic in NYC 🗽. I hold joint appointments in the divisions of General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at NYU.

I am a proud Diplomate 🎓of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and Past President of the National Lipid Association. I am aFellow of the National Lipid Association , President of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology & Vice President of the Foundation of the National Lipid Association. I also serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Lipidology and am a board member of the Foundation of the National Lipid Association and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology.
My clinical interests focus on the clinical management of patients with complex 🧐 and inherited 🧬 lipid and lipoprotein disorders and cardiovascular disease 🫀🧠prevention. I maintain an active clinical research 🔬🧪program in these areas and have authored numerous articles 📑 and book 📚 chapters in the field of Clinical Lipidology.
I see patients both at Bellevue Hospital and in a private practice setting.
