Bio

Greetings! My name is Mia Smith and I am currently a 9th Grade English Teacher at Lovejoy High School. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications (Public Relations) and Marketing. I also received a Master of Education in Instructional Technology and Design from UWG. I believe that life experiences lead us into finding our passion and our purpose. I spent 3 years working in Corporate America. I thought Corporate America was the environment for me until I gave birth to my daughter, Kori. I realized that my position in Corporate America was time consuming and did not allow me to experience "LIFE" with my daughter. Motivating and inspiring others is my passion! Teaching is my purpose! I LOVE what I do! I am excited for everything God has in store for me! I am self-motivated, always open to learning new things, and ready to take on the world!
