Bio

Hi, I’m Libby. The creator of Liminal Escapes, The Collective and Senior Partner at Davis Rea Ltd Investment Counsel.
Just out of school I made the unconventional choice of working in financial. It wasn’t always easy being the only woman in the boardroom, but I never backed down from a challenge.
I formed The Collective to give women like me a voice and a place to do business, on their terms.
Now, I want more. Over the years I honed my skills, and made connections in the business world, but it’s time to step outside of those walls.
I needed a challenge and I have a drive to use all I’ve learned in a new way.
So now I am focused on bringing together, people like me, who have a desire to explore themselves deeper and to do it in a place that encourages freedom of thought and movement.
I designed Liminal Escapes as a retreat, held in majestic locations, where I bring small groups of adventurers together with experts/leaders for transformational experiences. Where people will connect and create memories, they’ll share for years to come.
Each retreat has a different focus combined with a unique collection of fascinating and intriguing participants. And for most of them I get to feed my love of being in Nature, hiking, and especially good food with our private chef, and sitting around an outdoor fire sharing stories.
I can be found in my home in Toronto or at my cottage In Pointe au Baril, with my partner and three children. Our home is a hub of activity with dinner parties, laughter and community.
