Lewis Conway, Jr., has built a cachet of servant-leadership as an organizer and campaigner locally, regionally and nationally. In 2018, Conway challenged a state law, to become one of the first formerly incarcerated people in Texas to have their name on an electoral ballot.
Lewis has spent the last two years as a Strategist for the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) working nationally to carry out large-scale advocacy, legislative, electoral and organizing campaigns.
He is also the co-founder and President of Equally Yoked Marketing and Consulting where he oversees all of EYMAC’s marketing, research and messaging strategies.
Lewis’s work focuses on people of color and justice impacted individuals who have become the driving force of rapidly evolving advocacy and policy trends in the United States.
Prior to these current efforts, Lewis spent 2,095 days in Texas prisons and 4,012 days on parole for Voluntary Manslaughter. He is also a serial entrepreneur, filmmaker and digital content creator with almost two decades of experience in the broadcast and music industry.
