EMOCIÓN SANA is my passion project, as mental health -la salud mental - is a human right! After years helping immigrants seeking political asylum in the U.S. many of whom have suffered complex traumas, the natural progression was to create a non-profit that offers Free of charge emotional support and brief treatment intervention to any Spanish speaking person regardless of location. What started in March 2020 as a long cherished dream is now an organization with over 40 members, professionals from various disciplines, all passionate about mental health.
