Bio
Lester Jenkins is a Chicago native and a BA graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where he concentrated in vocal jazz performance and acting studies. Lester has been performing professionally 11 years in the Midwest and southern areas of the country via various bands including the Dennis Keith Experience, TVK Orchestra, Chicago Elite Orchestra, David Rotherstein Group.
Lester has various house/R&B projects available digitally (under the alias Lester Jay), and has been selected for various projects both performance and television including gospel artist Donald Lawrence, American Idol, and Verizon.
Lester can currently be seen at various public Midwest dates with Chez Butter or the “Tears Dry on their Own: An Amy Winehouse Tribute” tour.
