I have an eclectic background in media, higher education, and sports. My interests are emerging media technologies, sports, and leadership development.

As a pioneer in smartphone journalism, I cover University of Notre Dame Athletics using the latest emerging media tools and technologies, including the smart speaker..

As a journalism educator, my research focuses on emerging media and the skills and characteristics needed by global journalists in the mid-21st century and beyond.
