✍️ WORK LIFE THEN: Before Dotdash, I spent 10 years at Hearst, where I was Chief Beauty Director, overseeing the beauty teams of 12 brands including Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, Women’s Health and Elle. I also was a beauty editor at Fitness, SELF, Health.

📖 MY BACK STORY: My media career started in 2000–pre-Hills and Instagram, when beauty editor jobs were still a bit mysterious. For 10 years, I worked my way up the mastheads at four major publishers (Time Inc., Conde Nast, Meredith and Hearst), passionately “reinventing the lipstick” every month at magazines including Health, SELF, Fitness and Cosmopolitan. I honed my craft of editing, writing and ideating, while working to bring beauty brands’ stories to life. Nineteen years later, I started a new chapter: becoming a general manager at digital publishing powerhouse, Dotdash. I now oversee the teams of Byrdie (one of the largest beauty sites on the internet, serving more than 9 million readers a month!) and Brides (an 85-year old brand that helps 4 million readers plan their big day every month).
