Being cast out in the cold after years of cosy living can have quite the stark effect on you. It can replace all your motivation with heartbreak… or, it can be the most wonderful journey of self-discovery and reinvention that you’ve ever had. That’s how it was for me.
I’m Devorah Leah Siegel. When my journey began, I was a stay-at-home mom to four lovely kids. We lived in a $2 million house, and life was peachy. I used to work for the fun of it; there was never any real stress on me to provide for the family.
Eventually, my circumstances changed. I got divorced, had to move, and had to step into the role of breadwinner for my children. I worked a series of jobs: preschool teacher, massage therapist, office manager. One day a friend of mine told me, “No matter what job you have, you always become the de facto leader. You should make use of that.”
Her words stuck with me when I applied for the job that eventually became my career: the financial industry. Or, to make it sound less boring, the ‘money business!’ I found that I was the perfect fit for the job because of three qualities:
· Drive – being determined to make it in life with your own two hands
· Trust – knowing where and when to place it, and honoring it when it’s placed on you
· Ambition – building your future self as a person of worth from the get-go
True to form, I found myself in a position of leadership very soon. “You’re good at this, you should coach people who join up.” Why not? I love being around people who want to redefine themselves and really be somebody. Their own boss, and their own best friend.
Hunger. Compassion. Leadership. These are the qualities I want to see in people that I work with. Overcoming any setbacks you face is a part of life – it’s the journey that makes you stronger. I want to be part of your journey and help you achieve your goals: happiness, wealth, and everything in between. One day, you’ll inspire someone else to do the same. So let’s connect today!
