Lauren de la Fuente is a marketing and communications leader known for generating big ideas and revenue for both Fortune 100 companies and VC-backed start-ups. She’s been recognized for launching new businesses, technologies, and brands that have a long-lasting and cultural impact. She is currently the VP Marketing and a member of the Executive Team for the Networking as a Service (NaaS) platform PacketFabric.
Prior to PacketFabric, she was Vice President, Marketing and Communications for Boingo Wireless where she provided strategic and tactical leadership for the Boingo brand and story. She worked hand-in-hand with the executive team to identify strategic priorities across the breadth of the company’s business and built integrated marketing and communications campaigns to deliver against these priorities. During her tenure, the company experienced explosive revenue growth and the stock price grew from $7/share (2015) to $35/share (2018).
She has worked with some of the world’s most recognized and celebrated brands including Nike, E!, MTV, USA Network, G4, and the Syfy network as well as start-ups Intertainer (the first-ever streaming media platform) and Reactrix (a gesture-based technology platform).
Outside of her corporate roles, Lauren has served on the Board of Advisors for Women in Comms (WiC), where she played a key role in providing mentorship and support for women in the next-gen communications industry. She was also a member of the CTA (Consumer Technology Association) Communications Committee. In 2016 and 2018, Cynopsis Media named her to their "It List" which honors the most innovative executives in digital media who excel in content, marketing, advertising, and social media. PR News named her one of “2017 Game Changers of PR" and a "Top Women in PR" in both 2018 and 2019.
She has also led her Pearl Street Marketing marketing consultancy for 12-plus years. Pearl Street Marketing super-serves the TMT industries with growth strategies, revenue acceleration programs, and innovative marketing solutions.
