I have been working in media in various forms - video, audio and print - for the past 15+ years. A nearly insatiable curiosity fuels me. I am drawn to people who are driven by their passion. I staunchly believe that everyone has a story to tell.

Among my favorite stories I’ve had the privilege to tell: how poverty fuels terrorism in North Africa, how Wyoming’s gas boom tranformed a wild west culture and Native Americans’ decades-long fight for social and financial justice. (Yep, love telling the underdog’s story.)

Things not many people know about me:
I used to be fluent in Swahili
I once had my head shaved
I made a plan to visit my first country outside the US before I even knew what continent it was on
