I'm a queer, Black, & Latinx kindergarten teacher living in Brooklyn. When you talk about me, the words that feel good to me are she and her. Other words that describe me include abolitionist, activist, feminist, leftist, and surfer.
I also teach grown-ups; usually I like teaching little kids best, but grown-ups don't pick their noses right up in the camera on Zoom, so it's a close call right now.
