Monica Nappo is an actor and a theatre director. She has extensively toured Europe with large scale Italian and European productions, combining text based with physical work alongside practitioners such as Tony Servillo, Carlo Cecchi and Mario Martone. She has introduced international work to Italy, being the first to perform Sarah Kane, Dennis Kelly, Tony Kushner amongst others, as well as becoming the first woman to win the Zanzara d ‘Oro : a national stand up comedian award. In cinema has worked with P.Sorrentino, M.Garrone, W.Allen, B.Shapiro, R.Scott amongst others. She teaches acting skills in few National Theatres in Italy and in the CSC, the National academy of Cinema. "The Experiment" is her debut play as a playwright
