Lac Grizzly Bio

Terry aka Lac Grizzly has been attracted to music since adolescence. He was born in South Carolina but raised in GA. He grew up with a strict church background which taught him not to conform to social norms. He started out wanting to rap but discovered that his true passion is in production. He started making beats at the age of 15, which is when he started listening with an entirely different ear. His favorite producers are Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Just Blaze, & Pharrell Williams. His sound has developed over the years but has a deep roots in the south. Later he gained an interest in audio engineering as well. Learning from engineers & producers like Gerald “Geo” Hall, Kevin “Gr8 Trakz” Lamar, & Ray Baker of Underground Soundz, he began to finally develop a signature sound.
Music has changed Lac’s life for the better. He was waiting to get placements and was nervous about stepping out on his own, but he has some great people in his corner pushing him. He owes some of that to his late best friend Jason “Syke Pachino” Mojica. Through him, he met southern rap legend Young Bleed, Indianapolis underground legend Chucky Workclothes, and through Chucky Workclothes, Lac landed his first major placement with KXNG Crooked. Lac has a team he works with and they call themselves the A.U.T.O.B.O.T.S. Lac Grizzly is constantly creating new relationships and continues to move forward. He credits his first magazine interview to Big Lac of Combine Magazine. Lac has a personal photographer by the name of Delontaye Taylor of CLU Photography and loves to mention everybody he rolls with because they held him down even when he wanted to give up.
Lac is still in the church and is leaning towards starting his own record label. He’s been moving more towards CHH (Christian Hip Hop) because of his faith and wants to become a powerhouse in that area of music. He is currently working with a CHH artist who goes by the name of QuesThorough. Lac really wants to solidify his foundation and make an impact in music history.
