Our nonprofit is based in Memphis and we focus on using Earth’s abundant natural resources to regenerate so-called “blighted” neighborhoods. Our aim is to bring eco-friendly new-home construction, urban farming and waste-to-energy production into underserved communities. We believe these create a miniature economic engine at the neighborhood level, creating jobs and opportunities for the oncoming green economy.

One of our programs is called “Pipeline to Prosperity,” aimed at working with ex-felons and other underemployed populations. By teaching green home building skills, modern farming techniques and more, we aim to transform neighborhoods from the ground up.

Deep down, I have this crazy idea that we can END POVERTY and HUNGER in our lifetimes. The weapon in this war will be LOVE and FOOD. It’s been said that “The fed person has many problems; the hungry person has only one.” Perhaps if we shift the battlefield by promoting and growing food right in the poorest neighborhoods, we can shift the momentum, change the game. But most of all, I’m here to help however I can. I’ve been through some things, God has revealed some things, and somehow I’ve been blessed with an ability to communicate big and powerful ideas in impactful ways.
