Born in Mie Prefecture.
Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design. Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design and received a master's degree from Tokyo Polytechnic University.
Won the Grand Prize at the Canon New Cosmos of Photography in 2009.
Currently lives and works in Mie Prefecture.
