😎 Someone once said I was a “cute little Mom” that wouldn’t make a dent in the vision research field. 6 years later he and I were 2 of only 12 people in the world to speak at the FDA to get the first ever gene therapy approved. He has a Doctorate. I have grit, grace & a knack for influence. 😉

Here’s the thing:

The first blind person I ever met was my first born son. The second one was my 2nd son. I went from hopeless to being honored as the Champion of Hope, and am now known globally for changing the world’s perception of blindness & accelerating access to the tools blind people need to succeed without sight.

And my boys? My oldest is in the top 1% of 75K students at Penn State. My younger one is top 3% of all high school seniors in USA. They, and their sighted sister, are achieving more than I ever dreamed!💥
