🇭🇹 Alo! I founded the Haitian Creole Language Institute of New York back in 2013 and co-founded Jaden Timoun - a Kreyòl Language Immersion Program for Children in 2017 with Darnelle Champagne. 🇭🇹

Here's a brief summary of what I've done over the years:
.
✨Currently a Professor of Kreyòl at NYU's Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
✨Created curricula for teaching Kreyòl for various Universities including Vassar, CUNY Brooklyn College, and CUNY LaGuardia College.
✨Contributing Editor to the "Haiti Reader" published by Duke University Press. Contributed a translation of an excerpt of Franketienne's "Dezafi".
✨BA in Linguistics & Spanish from Cornell University and a MA in Urban Affairs from CUNY Queens College.
✨Created the signature "Kreyòl pou Dyaspora" course for people of Haitian Heritage to learn Kreyòl and annual cultural programs such as #MotherTonguesUnited and Sanité Bélair Women's Empowerment Series.
