🚗 💨🌳 Green Gas is a social enterprise I founded to translate consumer demand for sustainability into funding for climate solutions. We link high quality carbon offsets into gas pumps at the point-of-sale. Revenue raised via this grassroots price on carbon is allocated to a portfolio of nature-based carbon removal projects. $1 donated at the pump removes the emissions of 10 gallons of gas. 1% adoption in the US can raise 280 million for climate solutions. Currently deployed in 5 states as well as a B2C debit card solution that automatically offsets fuel. Designed as a bridge climate solution that will hopefully not have to exist in 10 years as transport system electrifies.
