My name is Korede Azeez and I love to make stuff, whether it's a podcast, video, or super-moist chocolate cake 😉.

Work History

I got into broadcasting when I joined a discussion programme on campus radio in 2011. 📻🎙

Since then, I've gone on to work as a full-time radio Presenter and Producer, TV Presenter and Producer, Copywriter with an international agency, and Technical Producer at BBC Media Action. 🎥🎙

Filmmaking

I directed a short film 'Tip of the Edge' (2019) and worked as a cinematographer on another short film 'The Session' (2020). Both films were official selections of Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF). 🎬📽

I also wrote and directed Man Coin, a short film that blends a Nigerian urban legend and cryptocurrency. You can watch it on my IGTV when you go to my Instagram profile.

And yes, I’m a crypto enthusiast.

When I'm not working on narrative projects, I love to shoot other kinds of videos and films, such as wedding films, documentaries, fashion films, and ads.

Podcasts

I independently produce podcasts and provide consulting services for individuals and businesses who want to share their message and connect with their desired audiences and/or customers.

I produced IAC Podcast for I Am Change Organization where I interview change makers from various sectors.

On Season 3 of the podcast, I interviewed spoken word poet Alhanislam, Zikoko's editor-in-chief Fu'ad Lawal, filmmaker Kenneth Gyang, and activist Hamzycode, among other great guests.

My podcasting journey started in 2016 with my podcast 'Yoruba Igbo Muslimah' where I shared my experience growing up as a Yoruba Muslim in Christian Igbo land. I went on to produce the PODEcast for the Presidency Office for Digital Engagement before taking on I Am Change Podcast.
