Kerstin Krause on Clubhouse
Bio
Kerstin Krause was formed at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, one of the leading institutions of fashion design and fine arts. Thanks to the excellent preparation at FIT, it opened the doors to workshop masters of contemporary fashion like Geoffrey Beene and Mary McFadden. Krause took advantage of the opportunity to learn hands on from Beene, one of the pioneers of American fashion and creator of an empire for men and women who appreciate luxury. Visionary and innovative, several of his apprentices are now world famous couturiers, like Albert Elbaz.
Working closely with Doo-Ri Chung also marked Krause. Next to the New York designer with Korean roots she could learn the mastery of her simple lines and her famous drapes.
Since 2010 Krause is working for her own label Kerstin Krause Madrid, which is based in Madrid in Spain.
