My mom is from she come to America in October in 1985. My mom grew up in Visalia California and attended redwood high school where she graduated in 1991. After she graduated my mom wanted to continue her education but her English is not good with seven siblings her family her parents couldn’t put them all through college. So she decided to get job and help her parents put her brothers, sister through college instead because they are smarter then her. Four out of six siblings graduated from college. Here now she is a mom to a beautiful 3 kids in her life always working ten to twelve hours a day seven days a week to supportive her beautiful 3 kids and new husband (stepfather) also. She kind regret not continue school and wish that she should wouldn’t have to work hard. When her company announced the bad news of closing their door forever, everyone was sad but there is a bit good news to it because they have this program where they help you pay for school and books for those who want to go back to school and learn. She thought this was a good opportunity for her to go back to school and for her to prudes her dream. This is her first year attending a community college in reading 80 she hope to learn how to read better and improve her English. English is her second language it was difficult for her to understand the word, especially when she is reading she can read, but she has hard time understanding when it comes to reading. So hopefully she taking reading 80 will help her in the long run improve her reading, grammar and the correct way using the English language she also believes by the end of the years. She will read better so that she could get to the classes that she needed to take before she enter into the medical laboratory technician curriculum.
