L’Amour is a native of Dayton, Ohio, USA who have lived and worked in New York, Chicago and L.A.. While still in high school he had obtained popularity as a long distance runner, dancer and “best dress” that led him into fashion illustration where he won a few state wide awards. After high school and turning down twelve scholarships (including a full one at FIT), he became a professional concert dancer.

He has not only produced his own fashion productions, but made all of the garments while directing and modeling in them as well. That led him to twenty-two year span featured with the long running Ebony Fashion Fair with Johnson Publication where his Multi Colored Leather Patched laced back Gown with separate laced sleeves toured museums throughout the United States for EFF’s “50 Years of Fashion” for more than 4 years. He has been published in both Ebony and Jet magazines as well as Bride Noir, Urban Flava, CVS, Dayton Monthly, Chicago Sun and New York Times and Simply Dela Jouere and it’s first international issue for this spring where you will find him on the cover, inside cover, centerfold with a spread. He also served as Creative Consultant for that issue.
