Bio

Kim Mitchell is the Senior Vice President for Military, Veteran and Gov't Affairs at National University. She is an advocate for our veterans, military families and Gold Star Families. She speaks at conferences and events across the country. She was the President of Dixon Center for 5 years and a Consultant to the Department of Defense for 3 years assigned to the Department of Defense 50 Year Vietnam War Commemoration Committee. She was the first Non-Vietnam Veteran President & CEO of Veterans Village of San Diego where she led a robust team for almost 3 years. She is currently a Board Member for the Kaplan Public Service Foundation, Infinite Hero Foundation, the Woody Williams Foundation and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. She is on the Advisory Committee for the Iraq Afghanistan Veterans of America and on the Department of Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee for Homeless Veterans.
