Kimberly Barker M.Ed.
Hi I am Kim Barker. I am first and foremost a mother to two incredible children.
I am a highly motivated social justice advocate and educational leader, committed to continuing endorsement of educators, and Child and Family Education (CFE) professionals. I advocate for and promote the overall healthy development and support of equitable education for children, adolescents, family, colleagues, and community. I am currently a full-time Assistant Professor in Child and Family Education/ Education and Director of the Teacher Accelerated Preparation Program (TAPP) at a community college. I am a co-founder of Coalition on Anti-Racism Education (C.A.R.E.), and work as a consultant/presenter for educational institutions and foundations. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. in Education, with a focus on Advocacy in Child and Family Education.
I look forward to engaging in deep meaningful conversations with passionate and like minded individuals.
