Born and raised in New York City, I’ve used my fluent Japanese skills to manage several restaurants, freelance as a restaurant consultant, complete a marketing internship in Tokyo, become a tour guide, dabble in interpreting, nanny for families of Japanese speakers/learners, travel abroad as a dialect coach and repeatedly appear on popular Japanese shows as a TV and radio personality.
