hey👋🏽 i head up somos - a free to join community for paid and volunteer online language teachers and tutors. get in touch to join our beta launch in april 2022!

before kicking off somos, I ran apples & pears - a charity that funded nurseries, primary schools, domestic violence shelters, arts venues & specialist charity projects to run or host group trips programmes for children under 12 and their families. at its peak in 2018/19, around 6,000 participants from across 90+ organisations took part in a&p trips in and around london.

alongside my charity and social enterprise work, I have a varied commercial background in mergers & acquisitions, law, sales and insurance.

keen to hear from/connect with people and/or organisations focused on:

- the preservation, protection and celebration of endangered languages, cultures and peoples,
- grassroots community building, migrant rights, racial equity,
- co-operative and mutual aid projects,
- restructuring the power dynamics created by systemic inequality,
- diversifying tech and the startup ecosystem;
- food and recipe creation, particularly in diaspora.
