Bio

Marco Khan is born in Tehran Iran. At age of 11 he was sent to Venezia Italia to study abroad in an Armenia Catholic boarding school ! At the age of 17 he came to USA ( 1978 ) to continue his education. But faith had other plans for him! In 1979 Iran went through a Revolution! Marco was stuck here in USA ( which it worked out better! ). At the age of 23 he opened his 1st Pizzeria restaurant . In the span of 12 years he owned 3 Pizzeria restaurants! In 1995 after passing of his father , he realized that although Marco loved cooking & creating new dishes ( he was probably the 1st gourmet Pizzeria in 1983! ) that he wanted MORE out of what life had to offer ! In 1995 he closed his restaurants down & decided to get into acting ( something his father had sown the seed in him! His 1st choice was to play professional soccer or football! But he was too old ! ). Not knowing anyone or anything about acting he took someone’s advice & joined Central Casting to do extras work ! He used his unusual look & athletic build to his advantage ! Because of his look he used to be always picked to play bodyguard or a bad guy, which led him to the stunt world & jobs! In 2006 he got a huge break on a Roland Emmerich film “ 10000 BC “ as the main bad guy! But the job wasn’t handed to him! Marco had to take matters in his own hands when an agent he had , had refused to send request for Marco to be considered for auditioning for the role of “ One Eye “ on “ 10000 BC “ in order to teach him a lesson! The film became a success & opened more doors & auditions for better roles ! “ Don’t Mess With the Zohan & Ironman “ followed ! His looks & ability to read , write & speak 5 plus languages has helped him to play different roles ! He found out how Hollywood saw him & would cast him! He took that to the bank ! He’s still grinding & also writing his own projects ! None of his scripts have become reality YET , but he’s VERY optimistic that once 1 has become a reality at least a few more will follow ! Marco’s motto in life is “ Never Give Up ! “.
