Bio

Poet, songwriter, binge-reader, an American in Rome, mother to a spirit more rebellious than my own.

Currently working on a chapbook of poetry on motherhood and postpartum, as well as a character driven novel.

I’ve worked as a translator of poetry from Italian to English and developed my own course and tools for teaching Italian children English.

I’ve written hundreds of songs purely for catharsis.

I dream of one day finding a way to teach girls how to write poetry and songs and be proud of what they create.

Would love to chat with anyone passionate, anxious, sad, joyful-anyone who deeply feels. I like to listen to people’s stories.

I could listen to the elderly talk for hours.

I think courage is freedom. I am still learning to be brave.
